How to Install MediaTek Driver using the Auto Installer

Install the MediaTek drivers

What you need: a Windows computer and the MediaTek Driver Auto Installer (Mediatek_Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1352.zip).

1. Download the MediaTek Driver Auto Installer package and extract (unzip) it to a folder you can find easily, such as the Desktop. If you have already done this, skip to the next step.
2. Open the extracted folder and find the file named Install Drivers.bat.
3. Right-click Install Drivers.bat and choose Run as administrator. A setup window opens.
4. Press any key on the keyboard to start the installation.
5. Wait until the window shows that the driver installation is complete. If a Windows Security prompt appears, choose Install.
6. Press any key again to close the setup window.
7. Restart the computer.

Once the computer has restarted, you can connect your MediaTek device to the computer and use it with flash tools or for file transfer.

1. Driver Signature Error: If Windows refuses to install the driver because it is not digitally signed, follow the How to Fix Driver Signature Error guide and then try again.
2. Driver Easy: If you still have trouble with the USB driver, you can use the Driver Easy application to find and install the required drivers automatically.
